Dear students, dear parents, dear teachers,
Dear Athénée community,
It is with deep gratitude that we send you this message. Thanks to your incredible mobilization and commitment during the 2025 Charity Run, we have already raised more than €78,000 for the three projects supported by our NGO! This exceptional result is a testament to the generosity and solidarity that drive our school community.
At the same time, we are also pleased to announce the composition of the new Board of Directors of our NGO, Athénée – Action humanitaire (A-AH). The motivated and committed team fully embraces the work of its predecessors and will continue the ongoing initiatives with enthusiasm and rigor.

Time for thanks:
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Mr. Romain Diederich, outgoing President, for his long-standing commitment and exemplary leadership. We are pleased that he will continue to serve on the new Board of Directors!
A huge THANK YOU to Marianne Dondelinger for her unwavering commitment since the beginning of our NGO. Thanks to her dynamism and determination, she led the association for many years and, above all, she was the initiator and driving force behind the project in Cape Verde, which she brought to fruition with passion, mobilizing colleagues and students around this wonderful adventure.
Finally, we would like to express our deep gratitude to Mr. Jos Salentiny, Honorary Director of the Athénée and former President of our NGO, who, after many years of loyal commitment, is retiring from active work within the NGO. His vision, unwavering support, and commitment to the association’s humanitarian values have had a lasting impact on our work.
Furthermore, we are extremely pleased to inform you that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has approved the new “EDULINK 4” project in South Africa. This program, which builds on its predecessors, will continue to promote education, cooperation, and sustainable development.
